Some couples choose a simple legal ceremony with only the required legal wording and the signing of the marriage documents. Others prefer a more personalised celebration with their own vows, readings, music and special moments shared with family and friends. The choice is entirely yours.
At Pride Registry Weddings, Melbourne Marriage Registry and the Victorian Marriage Hub, we believe every couple should have the freedom to create a ceremony that reflects their relationship, personality and story.
Our experienced Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrants can conduct everything from a simple registry-style wedding or intimate elopement through to a fully personalised ceremony with family participation, custom vows, readings and music.
As long as the legal requirements for marriage in Australia are met, you are welcome to include your own vows, poems, readings, cultural traditions and personal touches.
Many same-sex and LGBTQIA+ couples choose to create a ceremony that is uniquely their own, and our celebrants are always happy to discuss ideas that will make your wedding feel meaningful and memorable.
Most ceremonies are conducted in our beautiful South Yarra ceremony rooms at the Victorian Marriage Hub.
Our intimate ceremony rooms comfortably accommodate intimate weddings through to celebrations of more than 35 guests and provides a welcoming and elegant setting for registry-style weddings, same-sex weddings, LGBTQIA+ ceremonies and elopements.
Extended ceremonies and larger guest numbers may also be accommodated by prior arrangement.
Wedding ceremony packages start from under $300 and include your celebrant, ceremony, legal paperwork and use of the ceremony room.
Additional options are available for extended ceremonies, evenings, weekends and special dates. Full pricing details can be found in our Price Guide.
